Pun and Games at the SiriusDecisions 2017 Summit

Last week, my team and I spent a whirlwind few days in Las Vegas for the SiriusDecisions Summit. In addition to the insights we gained in sessions, we had some excellent discussions with fellow marketers over lunch and on breaks. We talked about the challenges of making marketing strategy, content, digital and demand gen programs work together.

At our booth, we also had some fun making words work together — with a pun contest. Each day, we picked two categories for booth visitors to combine into a play on words. We got such clever answers that it was tough to pick a winner!

That’s no surprise, of course. Creative thinking and problem-solving are big parts of the job for marketers. And attendees tackled the challenge head-on. Even those who doubted themselves came back with brilliantly witty puns.
