U.S. Cellular, the nation’s fourth-largest full-service telecommunications provider, wanted to tell its customers it was ready for the dawn of 5G technology. The company’s 2020 launch would reveal next-level technical capabilities backed by the powerful network and customer service U.S. Cellular is known for. U.S. Cellular turned to The Mx Group for brand identity and launch messages for both consumer and business audiences that would leave a lasting impression.
Our work began with logo design and development, followed by a video announcement launched on U.S. Cellular’s consumer website that teases a future of connectivity without disruption. Our team then turned its attention to U.S. Cellular’s business audience, with a splash page on the business site that introduced the idea of “business without limits” for five key market segments.
The new 5G brand has already been met with extremely positive reviews from U.S. Cellular stakeholders. The relevant, rich media content on the business page increased site sessions by a full 50% compared to other pages, and engagement has been robust, up as much as 200%.
