How it Works

The Thought Leadership Index score is derived from three elements:

METRICS: Using digital metrics, we analyze the competitive landscape to illustrate where your brand stands in relation to each competitor individually, how each pillar (Authority, Visibility, Expertise & Foresight and Trust) contributes to the overall score and how each competitive set performs in isolation. Example metrics include monthly site visits, domain authority, inbound links and total social audience.

SURVEY: We conduct a qualitative survey, taking into consideration how your customers rank your brand against your competitors.

CONTENT: MX’s content experts evaluate your brand’s content marketing efforts, and those of your competitors, for overall program maturity and leadership. Considerations include content volume, user experience and credibility among others.

Each element is scored on a scale of 0-10.
