Emily Williams Kleist Promoted to Vice President, Executive Creative Director

July 16, 2020

The Mx Group is pleased to announce that Emily Williams Kleist has been named vice president and executive creative director of the agency. This promotion comes at a time of expansion at Mx, which was recently named the third-fastest-growing B2B agency in the U.S. by B2B Marketing and one of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies To Work For.

“Emily has led our creative team, delivering impactful work and growing our talent significantly, over the last few years,” said Agency President Tony Riley. “We are excited to recognize what Emily is doing for us now, such as creating partnership opportunities with organizations that shape the talent of the future, like Chicago Portfolio School, and leading internal initiatives that raise the caliber of our collaboration and ultimately our work. We’re also very excited about where she plans to take the creative department in the future.”

In her new role, Emily will focus on deepening relationships with clients; establishing new areas of creative expertise and thought leadership; engaging in the B2B and broader communities in new ways; and continuing to find, retain and cultivate staff.

I’m grateful for the trust and the opportunity to push our momentum forward in ways that continue to attract new talent, great clients and amazing partners.

I’m grateful for the trust and the opportunity to push our momentum forward in ways that continue to attract new talent, great clients and amazing partners,” said Emily.

“Unlike many senior creatives I’ve worked with, Emily is a very well-rounded leader,” Tony added. “Her strong creative vision coupled with her hands-on management style is crucial in generating a creative culture with unlimited potential.”
