Burr Ridge, Ill. (August 18, 2015) — The Mx Group, a digital and demand creation agency, recently participated in the 16th Annual Marketing World 2015: A Frost & Sullivan MindXChange, held July 13–16 in Boston. Over 100 marketers attended, representing a mix of industries from aerospace and defense to automotive, health care and financial services. The conference focused on innovation in marketing strategies, education and peer-to-peer networking.
Lisa Cole, Director of Demand Central at The Mx Group, led a half-day group workshop titled “Elevating Your Content Marketing Strategy.” It focused on best practices for content creation management and prioritization. Participants learned valuable strategies to develop audits for content and buyer personas and identify roadblocks when implementing marketing programs. The session’s structure offered both group and individual exercises, so attendees could apply key learnings and peer experiences to their current marketing challenges.
According to Lisa, Frost & Sullivan’s ability to create intimate environments to learn and network alongside peers was the most valuable component of the conference. “Each day, [Frost & Sullivan] developed opportunities for us to connect directly with and learn from our marketing peers … from their own real-world experiences, both their successes and their failures.”
Unlike larger conferences, where participants sit in large conference rooms with little interaction, Marketing World provided a more personal layer of camaraderie and peer learning. Attendees heard keynotes from leaders in the field who successfully proved marketing can be a driver of revenue.
