Cristina brings more than five years of multi-media experience to her new role, specializing in writing, editing and reporting for magazines, radio and television. Cristina also has experience with integrated marketing, social media, blogging, Google AdWords, SEO and digital and print advertising.
Prior to joining The Mx Group, Cristina was a marketing specialist for The Toland Group, a boutique advertising agency located in a suburb west of Los Angeles. Previous experience includes social media marketing, blogging and SEO for ForeignIQ; freelance writing for Rock & Gem magazine; an internship with American Public Media’s “Marketplace” radio show; audio news contributions to Iowa Public Radio; and she served as the assistant editor for Quill & Scroll magazine. She has an honors bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication, as well as a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in sociology from the University of Iowa.
