The Mx Group Earns Two Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards Honored in Video and B2B Collateral categories

BURR RIDGE, Ill. (October 7, 2014) — The Mx Group, a B2B digital marketing and sales optimization company, earned two 2014 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards. The wins come in the Video and B2B Collateral categories for work on behalf of Siemens and VinSolutions. The awards recognize companies for innovative, strategic and leading-edge creative work.

The Siemens Perfect Harmony brochure, which won the B2B Collateral category, was a component of the global rebranding project for Siemens medium-voltage variable frequency drives, which changed the product name from ROBICON to SINAMICS. The brochure uses a combination of deep technical detail and high-impact visuals, which positions the Siemens Perfect Harmony product within the company’s broad portfolio of medium voltage VFD products and the context of Siemens’ history of innovation.

VinSolutions is an industry leading provider of integrated software solutions for automotive dealerships, and the Company engaged The Mx Group in late 2013 for a rebranding project. An engaging video that introduced the new brand was a key element in the rebranding marketing materials. The video, which was honored in the Summit MEAs Video category, featured an energetic, informative format that demonstrated how VinSolutions helps automotive dealerships better connect with their customers.

The Summit MEAs support marketing communications’ goal to change, influence or reinforce a target audience’s knowledge, attitudes or beliefs. The awards competition uses this as a basis for judging to spotlight those projects that exemplify marketing communication effectiveness. In fact, only 8% of 2014’s submissions received top awards.

The two Summit MEAs mark another award-winning year for The Mx Group. Earlier in 2014, the company was a finalist for the Business Marketing Association’s (BMA) Agency of the Year.
